This weekend we made our annual batch of gingerbread cookies. Some of you might remember last year’s Moose of Doom that Mr. Pea made; this year’s highlight was this Patrick Starfish cookie. I made some pink and green sugars, and they came in handy for this fella. He’s made with a star cookie cutter, then stretched out a bit and sculpted with a toothpick.
The recipe we used this year was a new one that I found online, and swapped in butter for the shortening. The cookies were spicy and delicious. You can find the recipe if you scroll down here.
